Landaco Equipment is a leading Australian owned manufacturer of Fertiliser Spreaders based in Wagga Wagga. The company requires additional staff who will take pride in the products and the level of service provided to our customers.

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a candidate with strong administration background that is passionate about providing excellent customer service skills.


The main priority of the customer service assistant will to liaise with existing customers, potential customers and our appointed dealers.

They will respond to all queries from our customers from:

·         Dealer sales inquiries

·         Direct inquiry quotations

·         Spare part inquiries

·         New product promotion

·         Existing customer assistance

The duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:


·         Answering all incoming calls and redirecting

·         Greeting customers and visitors

·         Providing thorough customer service

·         Data entry

·         Arranging quotes and freight for spare parts

·         Filing - Keeping all folders up to date

·         Assisting sales, management and accounts


·         Update websites

·         Maintain and update Facebook

·         Produce vinyl stickers

·         Collate booklets and manuals

·         Inventory and supplies ordering

·         Write up documents, letters & reports


·         Organise and order promotional items

·         Co-ordinate field day sites and travel


In this role there is to be emphasis on customer service:

Customer service is the act of taking care of the customer's needs by providing and delivering professional, helpful, high quality service and assistance before, during, and after the customer's requirements are met. Four points of customer service that is to be provided at Landaco Equipment are:

  • Promptness: Promises for delivery of products and information must be on time and/or the customer must be kept up to date about their order.
  • Politeness and Friendliness: For any business, using good manners is appropriate whether the customer makes a purchase or not. When a customer deals with Landaco Equipment it should be a happy and friendly experience that they will share with other potential customers.
  • Professionalism: All customers should be treated professionally, which means the use of competence or skill expected of the professional. Professionalism shows the customer they're cared for.
  • Personalisation: Using the customer's name is very effective in producing loyalty. Customers like the idea that whom they do business with knows them on a personal level.

To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and attributes;

·         Solid work ethic

·         Willingness to assist others and an ability to develop rapport with people

·         Excellent written and oral communication skills

·         Be proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel software and maintaining websites

·         Ability to prioritise and multitask

·         A willingness to learn and grow within the role

·         Confident professional and polite phone manner


The position offered is a 12 month Traineeship. You will need to be enthusiastic and well organised, with an ability to multitask and complete scheduled tasks.  Applicants must be capable of working in a workshop environment.

Hours will be 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday
